Drometrizole CAS 2440-22-4 is a benzotriazole type UV absorber. Characterized by its stron, broad range UV absorption property, UV-P brings an excellent photostability to polymers against UV light exposure in many ways i.e. retarding color yellowing , preventing embrittlement, maintaining of mechanical properties etc. UV-P is particularly effective in styrenic polymers, PVC, unsaturated polyesters polyurethanes, acrylic polymers and polycarbonates
